Terms of Purchase

These terms apply when you purchase and use a personalized Quest Tales digital treasure hunt.

Adult purchase required. You must be at least 18 and authorized to provide the personalization details for the child named in the order.

Who we are

Quest Tales is operated by Alexander Shamin, an individual trader. Checkout and payment are handled by Creem (Armitage Labs OÜ, Estonia) as merchant of record, so your receipt comes from Creem. You can reach us at hello@quest-tales.com.

The product

Quest Tales is a personalized digital PDF containing a themed indoor treasure hunt. No physical product is shipped. The number and format of pages may vary with the story, while each completed quest contains 5–8 clue scenes and parent setup guidance. The Duo edition contains two such quests, one for each child. The Party Edition adds a separate party-pack PDF with a crew guide, fill-in invitations, and a crew certificate and cut-out medal for each named guest. Every edition is delivered in a full-color and an ink-saver version.

Personalization and accuracy

You are responsible for providing accurate, appropriate, and non-sensitive personalization details. We may adjust or omit a submitted detail if it is unsafe, unsuitable for a children's product, or cannot be used reliably. Minor differences in wording, illustration, pagination, and layout do not make the product defective. For the Party Edition, you confirm that you are entitled to provide the guests' first names for printing.

Delivery

The PDF is delivered digitally to the email used for the order after it has been prepared, normally within a few minutes and no later than 3 hours after purchase. Please order before the day you intend to use the quest and check spam or promotions folders. Contact support if the file does not arrive or cannot be opened.

Safe setup and supervision

An adult must review the completed quest, choose safe hiding places, place the clues, and supervise play as appropriate for the child's age and home. Do not place clues near hazards, appliances, chemicals, stairs, locked spaces, breakable objects, or anywhere that requires climbing or leaving the home.

Personal-use license

Your purchase gives you a non-exclusive license to print and use the PDF for one household or one private celebration. You may not resell, publish, upload, distribute, sublicense, or use the product or its design for commercial purposes. The free sample quest is provided under the same license.

Payments and refunds

Payment and checkout are handled by Creem, the merchant of record, under its Buyer Terms. Because the product is personalized and digital, contact us promptly if there is a delivery or quality problem. We will first try to correct or replace the file. If we cannot make the order right, we will provide a refund consistent with applicable consumer law and the checkout provider's process.

Your EU and UK right of withdrawal

If you buy as a consumer in the European Union or the United Kingdom, the law normally gives you 14 days to withdraw from (cancel) a purchase of digital content. Your quest is digital content that we begin preparing, and deliver, before that period ends. By placing the order, you expressly consent to immediate delivery and you acknowledge that the right of withdrawal is lost once delivery has begun. For EU consumers, Creem's Buyer Terms, which also apply to your purchase, contain the same consent for digital content.

Losing the right of withdrawal does not limit your statutory rights when the product is faulty, not as described, or not delivered. In that case the "Payments and refunds" section above applies, together with any remedies consumer law gives you.

Reasonable limits

To the extent permitted by law, Quest Tales is not responsible for indirect or consequential loss, problems caused by incorrect customer information, unsafe clue placement, printer or email-provider issues, or use of the product outside these terms. Nothing here limits rights that cannot legally be limited.
